mimic is an early stage deep tech robotics & AI start-up based in Zurich and supported by leading VCs. We give industry workers a helping hand for tedious manual labour tasks and mitigate labour shortages with a versatile automation platform. Our automation solutions, driven by dexterous robotic hands and cutting edge AI trained on human observations, bring a new level of AI embodiment to the real world.

We are looking for a Founder’s Associate to join our team part-time as a working student or full-time for a temporary placement of at least 6 months with the possibility of a full-time position afterwards. You will work directly in close collaboration with the founders and gain unique insights into building and scaling a high-tech start-up within the quickly evolving generative AI & robotics space. Your support in business development, customer acquisition and operations management will directly impact the company's success.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to market research and analysis

• Supporting customer acquisition process and management of pilot projects with big industry players

• Sales and business development

• Supporting marketing initiatives (e.g., LinkedIn posts)

• Organizing events, workshops and team activities

• Support hiring the brightest minds for various roles in our company

 

Requirements

• Close to Bachelor or Master graduation or recently graduated.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or German (C1).

• Practical experience from internships in consulting, startups, scale-ups, tech companies, or from entrepreneur/startup associations is favourable.

• Ambitious and equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset to make things happen

• Ability to work with little guidance and proactively collaborate with multiple stakeholders across and outside the organization.

• ‘Business’ sense and analytical skills
