Physical AI for everyone
At mimic, we are building general purpose robots for factory floors. We’re on the frontier of AI and robotics to make sure it’s us, humans, that win as the global labour economy finds a new equilibrium. Our vision is to enable humanity to create, produce and manufacture at will, with minimum effort.
We invented Video-Action Models, a paradigm shift in robot learning that leverages state of the art video generation models to predict and execute future robot actions. We've built a system that generalizes across tasks it has never seen, and adapts to the messy variability of real production environments. Robots that are easy, intuitive and infinitely versatile in their ability to get stuff done - that has always been our goal.
But getting stuff done is far from just a research problem. We’re driven by a fundamental bias toward action, and in our field that means delivering value to our customers and their everyday operational reality. We’ve built a team of 50+ folks from around the world driving AI research, robotics, hardware, data ops and business development. That includes leadership and talent from Google Deepmind, Tesla Optimus, as well as researchers from ETH Zurich, MIT, and Stanford. mimic is headquartered in Zurich and extended by a research unit in San Francisco.
